Martha
Martha joined RAP in November of 2007. She represented RAP at the National Network of Immigrant and Refugee Rights Conference in January where she met other immigrant leaders from all across the country. Martha is also a skilled Know Your Rights presenter and has been actively involved in RAP's Know Your Rights campaign. -
Felipe
Felipe joined RAP in January of 2008. Since then he has been an integral part of RAP's Aurora campaign serving on the planning committee of the Campaign Kickoff in addition to representing RAP at critical community meetings and giving numerous Know Your Rights presentations. -
Guadalupe
Lupe joined RAP in November of 2007. She and her children made appearances in the original theatrical performance of the Posada Sin Fronteras. Since then Lupe has been extremely active in RAP's Aurora campaign. -
Consuelo
Consuelo joined RAP in November of 2007. In addition to helping to organize RAP's most successful Posada to date, Consuelo is trained as a Know Your Rights facilitator. She has also been extremely active in RAP's Aurora campaign collecting testimonies, participating in door knocking activities, and serving as a liaison between RAP and various community entities. -
Alma
Alma joined RAP in February of 2008. In addition to hosting RAP meetings and leading Know Your Rights workshops, Alma has been incredibly involved in RAP's Aurora campaign. -
ELSA
Elsa joined RAP in January of 2008 after attending a Know Your Rights workshop in Aurora. Since then she has become one of RAP's most active leaders giving numerous Know Your Rights workshops, representing RAP at various community events, and taking a lead role in RAP meetings. She also makes a mean pozole! -
Eugenio
Eugenio has been a leader with RAP for 2 years. In addition to taking a lead role in this year's Posada Sin Fronteras, Eugenio represented RAP in the Building Bridges Between African American and Immigrant Populations Conference in New York City. Inspired by the Conference Eugenio co-led a member workshop on African American history and the Civil Rights Movement. This workshop also allowed RAP members to strategize new ways to work with African American communities to promote justice and dignity for all members of our community. -
Jaime
Jaime has been a RAP leader for over 2 years. In addition to being our local Know Your Rights guru, Jaime developed RAP's My Space page. -
Jess
In addition to volunteering in the RAP office for several hours every week since she joined RAP, Jess has organized a variety of member workshops and community forums. Her member workshop on Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery taught RAP members and staff about the connections between the immigrant rights movement and contemporary slavery. Jose Angel
A dependable leader, Jose Angel has been a RAP member for over 4 years! He has participated in a number of RAP workshops and trainings, and represented RAP at the 2007 US Social Forum in Atlanta. -
Lee Ann
Lee Ann has been a RAP leader for more than 4 years! She single handedly recorded the sound for our theatrical production of the 2008 Posada. Lee Ann is an excellent organizer, and has brought many new members and leaders to the group over the years. -
Rocio
Star member of RAP's Technology Committee, Rocio has helped train other members in computer and internet literacy in addition to giving numerous Know Your Rights presentations.
